Aviation NDT Inspections

Aeronergic provides aviation Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) services to support aircraft maintenance, asset condition evaluation, and airworthiness decision-making. Inspections are performed by qualified personnel operating under procedures compliant with EN4179 / NAS410 requirements.

NDT Methods We Provide

Visual Testing (VT)

Direct and remote visual examination of aircraft structures and components for surface discontinuities, damage, and condition assessment.

Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)

Detection of surface-breaking defects in non-porous materials using fluorescent or visible dye penetrant methods.

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)

Detection of surface and near-surface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials using magnetic fields and particle indication methods.

Eddy Current Testing (ET)

Electromagnetic inspection for detection of surface and subsurface cracks, corrosion, and material property variations in conductive components.

Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

High-frequency sound wave inspection for detection and characterization of internal flaws, thickness measurement, and bond integrity assessment.

Radiographic Testing (RT)

X-ray or gamma ray imaging for volumetric inspection of welds, castings, and composite structures to reveal internal discontinuities.

Typical Applications

Aircraft Structures & Components

Detection and characterization of cracks, corrosion, delamination, and other defects on structural elements and assemblies—supporting maintenance actions and continued airworthiness.

Maintenance Support & Troubleshooting

Targeted NDT in response to defects found during scheduled checks or unscheduled events, with practical conclusions aligned to OEM/customer documentation.

Lease Return & Asset Condition

Independent or operator-support inspections providing objective evidence, documentation and traceability to support lease transitions and asset value protection.

Post-Repair / Post-Maintenance Verification

Verification inspections after repair or maintenance actions to confirm integrity and compliance before return to service.

Reporting & Documentation

Each inspection is documented with:

  • Inspection method and area identification
  • Findings description (location, extent, characterization as applicable)
  • Photo evidence where applicable
  • Clear references to customer documentation / applicable requirements
  • Recommendations for next steps when needed

AOG & Worldwide Mobilization

We support AOG as well as scheduled maintenance needs with rapid mobilization and efficient on-site execution. Our NDT inspectors are available for deployment worldwide, providing flexible support at customer sites, MRO facilities, or airport locations as required.
